We needed to get out. It seemed as good a place as any.

We were thankful for the morning out...in ways we can't even begin to explain.

It was a hot cocoa sort of day.

As soon as we got there, he found his spot, right up front to hear the story best.

He called to say they'd told him that he didn't get the job. I'm not sure who was more sad, him or me.

Day 9

....and we all showed up ready for good conversation, coffee, and knitting just as we do every week...this time, with someone new.

We marveled at the player and I wondered if they'd ever know what it was...
